Tiles come in all sizes starting with the Mosaic of 1"x 1" up to 24"x24" porcelain. They range in cost starting at $1 to $30 per square foot depending on material and design. The colors are full range with some tiles having elaborate artistry. The shapes can be square, octagonal, hexagonal, rectangular, and other less common shapes such as round and diamond.
Tile has an artistic value that cannot be found in carpet, wood floors or any other synthetic material. It is an extremely flexible design medium making it ideal for bathroom floors, countertops, showers, tubs, patios, porches, swimming pools, mosaics, and just about anywhere else you can think of! Tile surfaces are very durable and can handle heavy traffic better than carpet or wood floors while requiring little maintenance.
